The process involves injecting molten metal under high pressure into a reusable steel mold (die), where it rapidly solidifies into the desired shape. Die Preparation: The process begins with the preparation of a two-part steel die, which is precision-machined to the component’s specifications. The die is heated and coated with a lubricant to facilitate ejection and extend tool life. 2. Melting and Injection: The metal is melted in a furnace and transferred to a shot chamber. A hydraulic or mechanical plunger forces the molten metal into the die cavity at pressures ranging from 10 to 200 MPa, ensuring complete filling of intricate geometries. 3.
